All by Myself – A Self Experiment Part 2

Hello my dearest friends,

it it Monday night, January 25th, 2016. I am tired, but as I saw and recognized that my last post about my self experiment went out in September. So, I thought it might be the right time to write some words.

A REVIEW

A lot of things happened in the last few months and weeks. First of all, I am very proud of having released my debut album “SHY LOVE” in October 2015. It is a great start for something new! čÖé
When a project has finished or come to an end, it is good to have a review and go on and work on the things to become better. So do I and develop my music, sound and production on and on.   Although, I am working with Cubase and with electronic elements in general for about one year now, I can hear my own development. And that is exactly what I am proud of.

A PREVIEW

My next single and first of the year 2016 will come out on February┬á2nd: “HOW IT FEELS“.
HOW IT FEELS is a song which popped up in my mind in late autumn┬á2015. I recorded it at home (by the way: all of my songs are home recorded) and tried some new plugins (yes, I have invested loads of money in music, last year – what else). And wow – it seems to work. So be curious and have a listen and buy from February 2nd, on!

Also, my first gigs are announced! Yay!
The first of the first concert will be at the Flop Bar in Berlin, an intimate place with very good whiskey (you should have a try), nice sofas and a pretty atmosphere.
The second gig will be at Hangar 49. Hangar 49 is a cool electronic club in Berlin around Jannowitzbr├╝cke. And it is the first time ever (!) that they organize┬áan electro pop festival where I will play first. So be on time┬á– stage time is at 9pm!

By the way, have I told you that I am not alone on stage? You should keep an eye on the guy with the drumsticks.

I am sure it will be great fun! And I am already very excited!

All in all, I have to say that it costs a lot of time to organize those things. As I am full time employed, I only have the time between work and bed to work on my lovely project ANA ANA. It might be around 3 hours per day and as I love doing music, sometimes I forget to write a blog post or an email to all of you. Or to do marketing stuff. But I love ANA ANA and will keep developing – and I hope you like┬áit, too. čÖé

So, good night for today.

Love,

ANA ANA
